So when you are looking at all the ingredients most of the things you see are things you can find in your own kitchen. Where most people get confused is when they start introducing things like Citric Acid. When I first started to learn about the subject of clean eating I thought it was something along the same lines as lemon juice. I was actually mistaken in regards to this subject. What I learned is Citric acid that is put into our food is actually made by fermenting glucose. I was shocked by this, it actually tastes like lemon juice. It is a very inexpensive way of adding citric acid as opposed to squeezing some lemons. I personally avoid Citric acids because they do agitate my digestive track along with giving me heartburn. I will post my favorite homemade clean eating spaghetti sauce later today. If you would like to learn more about Citric acid feel free to send me a message I have some amazing facts I would love to share.

Getting to know your rooted self
As many people that have known me through close personal friendships or social media know I enjoy a multitude of different subjects spanning from fitness to holistic matters, or DIY crafting. I with the help of one of my very close personal friends have been running free fitness groups on facebook. Often I have found that when I write about a subject it tends to be a very long post and goes unread by many people. That is when I decided to start a blog.
So as many of my very close personal friendships can tell you I also am a strong advocate of holistic methods to many things because of my spiritual beliefs. Being a traditional witch I gravitate strongly to using naturally occurring herbs over man made chemicals. By no means am I saying that they do not come in handy or are bad but I personally prefer herbs. That is a big reason I decided on the name for my blog. I personally believe we are all creatures of the earth and are rooted as such.
My friend Cristal and I are currently running one of those free fitness groups now and will be for the next 21 days. Many people are actually unaware that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. Within the groups we do just that. We help others learn to eat healthier and make better choices for there health. We encourage and motivate others to post daily with there food or sweaty work out videos or pictures. We are all human after all and faulter at times but we always try to encourage everyone to get back up and try again.
So it's officially Day 1 of 21 and I try to always post about different subjects daily. Today I won't be doing that but instead want everyone to contemplate one healthy lifestyle choice they want to commit to for the next 21 days. It can be as simple as drinking more water or cutting out a food they know is not so good.
